Matchday arrangements

All matches are listed on the Matchday app under the fixtures tab.

Home matches

These are played at various locations depending on the age group. Locations currently used for home games include: St Stephens’s Junior School, Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School, Spires Academy and Stodmarsh Playing Fields. Your home pitch should remain consistent all season, but we do have a responsibility to ensure pitches are kept in good condition, so there may be times when fixtures are switched to a different venue to give the grass a chance to recover.

Please help us to maintain the good relationships we enjoy with the schools and colleges that provide our playing facilities by ensuring no litter is left on the premises. Please also note that many of the venues we play at do not permit dogs.

Away matches

Managers receive details of away match venues during the week leading up to the match. At times this may not be until a Wednesday. Once the manager receives these details they will share with parents through the communication method set up for each team, usually a WhatsApp group. Please always consider sharing lifts.

Cancellations

Matches are occasionally cancelled due to bad weather or pitch conditions, with a decision usually being made on the day of the game. If a match is cancelled due to having insufficient players the club will be fined unless documentary evidence is provided to explain the absences. For example, if a significant number of players are attending a school trip then a letter from the school must be sent to the league. If a lot of players are ill, doctors’ notes are required. Teams are expected to fulfil fixtures as long as they have the following:

5v5 4 players available
7v7 5 players available
9v9 6 players available
11v11 7 players available
