Eagles gets charity status!

We’re delighted to report that Canterbury Eagles is now a registered charity. There were several big and complicated hoops to jump through to get to this momentous stage in the club’s history, but it will have many positive implications so the effort that several of the club’s committee put in over the months and years will be well worth it.

Although nothing will change on the surface, financially this is a major step forward for the club in terms of making us eligible to apply for more grants and being able to accept gift aid with donations.

Our seven trustees, who are responsible for controlling the work, management and administration of Canterbury Eagles Charity on behalf of its beneficiaries, are:

Nathan Hunt – Chair

Alexander Burns – Trustee

Victoria Mason – Trustee

Jo Treharne – Trustee

Samantha Evans – Trustee

Dylan Williams – Trustee

Mark Attwood – Trustee
